In a remarkable display of collaboration and innovation, the Orlando MS&T (Modeling, Simulation, and Training) community recently came together for the third annual Armed Forces Jam, held at the Central Florida Tech Grove over the second weekend of September. Among the participants and participating organizations was CEO, Ali Mahvan, representing his company, Terasynth, a key player in the burgeoning Orlando tech scene.

For nearly a decade, Indienomicon has been spearheading this exciting event, which challenges developers to leverage their skills and creativity to address the diverse needs of the armed forces. The Armed Forces Jam encompasses a wide range of target areas, including artificial intelligence (AI), digital twins, electromagnetic spectrum, gaming, and cybersecurity.

One of the standout aspects of this year's Armed Forces Jam was the inclusion of representatives from both Unity, and Magic Leap, a renowned company specializing in augmented reality (AR) technology. This marked Magic Leap's inaugural participation in the event, and their involvement brought an exciting dimension to the challenge.

Magic Leap not only attended the event but also brought along their cutting-edge AR devices and a team of talented software developers. The intent was clear: to expose the participating developers to the incredible potential of pass-through augmented reality.
